twist

So here I am. In the sickroom at work after I twisted my ankle as I bounded down the stairs in my usual heedless way.

Feels very odd, this lying down on the job. I feel like I should be getting back to my desk. But lying down is preferable to the dizzyness and ominous buzz of nausea, and definitely relieves the issues caused by standing on the bung ankle.

Men are just not built for pain are they? (Or maybe it’s just me…)

I'm with you dude, I twisted my ankle badly a few years ago, thought I was going to pass out from the pain, dizziness, nausea etc.

Good. I'm not the only big girl's blouse, then. :-)

Back to work, slacker. Yuo don't need an ankle to churn out work from your desk. Count yourself lucky that work has relented on the proposed revisions to your employment agreement and you will no longer need to bring in your own coal. I've also reported you to HR/PC/whatever they are this week. Your bonus is *mine* - sucka...
