I saw that an immediately thought “I must do that too”. Saddly that tool only lets you use Flickr pictures and I don’t wish to set up an account. So now I will start the hunt for an alternative tool!!
Well I had a look aroudn the web for some software to do the same thing. Nothing much good out there. So then I had a go using PhotoDraw. A lot of fiddling around which didn’t seem justified really.
So I just made a flickr account, uploaded a photo and used that site.
I’ve just been over to http://www.flickr.com/groups/magazinecover/pool/
where they have a lot of these covers submitted by people. I have been luaghing a lot looking through these. There are some very funny ones. Much funnier than my attempt.
Just don’t look at the one some troller entered into the pool just after mine. I mean that quite seriously – it’s only for fans of rotten.com and goatse.cx.
Forunately I did not come across any horrible covers when looking through flickr. Thanks for the warning, I’ll consider myself lucky and not look for any more there!
Ever heard of the King of the Rats? Some bizarre concept, possibly from the same European mythology that brought you tales of the Bros Grimm. And maybe not…
But it’s 3 rats with their tails intertwined, and somehow that makes them really potent. And creepy.
Um… came across it in a Judge Dredd comic – the Ballad of Halo Jones….

I’m not really sure I’m seeing what I’m seeing because it’s past five am, and well, it would seem that a rat magazine has taken over half-pie.
But I’ll come back tomorrow and if this is so, I’ll seriously worry for you Alan… :D

The buggers aren’t content with the compost bin, nor the ceiling space.
They want the lot. And who are we to deny them?

Fun, and now I feel complete.

I’m still feeling a bit queasy, hours later.

Nice job, Ben.
Luckily the dodgy picture in question has been removed, thank goodness. So it’s safe to go back and look now.
It scarred me, it did.

That’s exactly what I was referring to – an extremely creepy thing too. Wikipedia have a good writeup.
Halo Jones, now that brings back a few memories.
